Specialist/chief physician in Radiology
We are looking for a specialist/chief physician in Radiology who wishes to be a part of our clinics and the continuous development within them. The atmosphere and climate within our teams are great and transparent with a high level of involvement and individual responsibility. The work at the clinics is characterized by both broad and specialized expertise; we are always in the forefront of diagnostics and care.
At our clinics we perform diagnostic imaging, intervention with traditional x-ray technology, ultrasound, MR and PET/DT; all according to the latest research and technology. We have recently installed a cyclotron in order to meet the need of functional PET-examinations. In addition to diagnostic imaging, we also carry out research, education and development. Radiology at Region Östergötland strives towards:
A change from invasive methods to non-invasive, for example through more DT-coronarangiografics and diagnostics of liver diseases without biopsy.
Functional and molecular visualization, for example in the shape of PET/CT, 4D DT, 4D MR, MR-perfusion.
Qualifications
Licensed radiologist with a specialist diploma. Your personal qualities are of great importance. Flexibility and collaborative skills are highly valued. You organize your work efficiently, maintain your special skills and share your knowledge with your colleagues.
Additional information
Date of the start of employment is determined by agreement.
The practice language is Swedish. If necessary, employment will start with studies in Swedish, paid for by Östergötland County Council. We will offer assistance during your relocation in Sweden; please contact us for more information.
You will be based at one of our hospitals in Linköping, Norrköping or Motala. The region offers a high standard of living with its modern and welcoming cities known for the university and business in the fields of innovation and knowledge. The region has a rich cultural life and a great wildlife. With two regional airports and just a 90 minute drive to Stockholm and 3 hour drive to Gothenburg, we are truly located in the centre of Sweden.
