We, your closest colleagues, are 11 highly dedicated and proud employees responsible for Parts Planning & Information Development. All of us are working independently with different areas of expertise and assignments but always with a team spirit in focus.
One of our colleagues in a Parts planning role will retire during spring 2020 and we are looking for his successor, this means that you will have the possibility to learn from very experienced colleagues.
Main Responsibilities
To secure that the parts range is optimized from a customer as well as a technical point of view. Your responsibility is spare parts planning, where you will be responsible for documentation of design changes in parts system, initiate that information about changes are given to the markets and that the product range is according to our Stock Holding Policy.
Advice and support on spare parts to Product Development and colleagues as well as customers.
This is you
Engineering Bachelor degree and some year of professional experience within diesel engines/transmissions is a requirement.
You have a good understanding for the aftermarket business, a great technical understanding and knowledge in diesel engines/transmissions. Previous role as a hardware designer in Product development for engines/transmissions will give you the best platform to perform this role and develop our ways of working. You have great computer skills, System knowledge and you speak and write fluently in English and Swedish.
We work according to structured processes in order to create the best quality. Knowledge in the systems KOLA, GLOPPS and Rhelp is a merit as well as Volvo group processes.
You like to discuss with colleagues and help and guide around technical matters. You need to have great cooperating skills. You also needs to be structured and attentive to details and quality oriented.
The team is solution and service oriented, so you need to bring with you a positive mindset in helping colleagues and customer.
