Job Summary
The Strategy Development & Execution Manager proactively recognizes emerging trends, problems and business needs. Provides innovative solutions to be applied wherever necessary by designing, developing and aligning the Sourcing strategy in cooperation with BU and Regional Sourcing community. Develops and drives Strategy Execution framework and Project Portfolio Management according to established methodology.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Drive Strategy Development
Develop, align and communicate the Sourcing Functional Strategy in collaboration with Sourcing in BU, Regions as well as Group Function Strategy
Secure BU- and Region strategy alignment and connection to the Sourcing Functional Strategy
Establish strategic long term objectives to monitor progress
Drive Strategy Execution
Responsible for the Strategy Execution framework development and maintenance
Drive Project Manager network for both Strategic Initiatives and other Improvement activities in the portfolio
Develop methods to identify, access and develop PM competence and candidates throughout the global Sourcing organization (in cooperation with HR and Competence Mgmt)
Maintain and develop the Project Portfolio Portal
Secure usage and knowledge of central Strategy Execution tools, such as XLPM, Idea Box and Improvement tracker
Secure that all improvement activities are executed according to framework
Support Sponsor and/or act as Sponsor for selected projects/programs
Secure Best practice sharing and cross functional Benchmarking/alignment for the strategic initiatives driven
Position Qualifications
Experience
Solid experience of external and internal best practices in Sourcing as a function
Solid experience of Ericsson business environment
Proven track record of defining and executing complex strategies into concrete deliverables
Proven experience in business negotiations
Strong track record of networking
Strong track record of interaction with senior management
Expert in listening, scoping & translating stakeholders needs into useful frameworks and tools
Strong track record in written and verbal communication skills
