Now we want to strengthen our Food team with someone who shares our passion for food and our values. We're looking for a Sourcing Specialist, come and join our great team where we are working together, taking part and wanting to make a difference.
In the Business Area Food, Sourcing Specialist role, you will have a great opportunity to establish & develop high performing and diverse supplier base globally, cooperating with business teams across Supply the whole IKEA landscape and together contributing towards the business goals. Develop and implement processes and consolidate former information into the new processes. You will have a big responsibility to optimize our value chain that can make better products and service at lower total cost for the many people.
Your daily tasks will include:
responsibility to secure supplier, supply chain and customer perspective through new products and improvements projects incl running range
leading material - ingrediency selection in the products development process, through own competence and through involving relevant competences
securing input and preconditions from the Business Area to Category, in order for the Category to define optimal global sourcing set-up for new products and improvements on products
responsibility to conclude business case based on optimal sourcing set-up
defining the optimal logistics set-up, considering both supplier and retail perspective based on assignment from Range & Product team, responsibility to lead deviation handling for running range
secure phase-in and phase-out of articles
responsibility to lead and secure the supply chain perspective of the pricing process (Big run, tertial runs)
contributing to IKEA offer, sourcing assignments and Product Development Processes
secure input from BA functions and specialist input from the categories (gearbox)
