PRESENTATION
On behalf of our client, Brady Mobile Handset Solutions, we are looking for a Sourcing Manager Europe.
Sourcing Management shall focus on developing the existing and potential supplier relations and materials to promote the Brady Mobile Handset Solutions organization. The overall goal is to make sure that we always have the best and most cost effective supplier base available in order to meet the market demands.
The position is located in Kungälv and you will report to the Global Sourcing Director.
Publiceringsdatum2007-11-09ArbetsuppgifterThe Sourcing Manager is an integrated player in the Global sourcing team and is responsible for the coordination of strategic sourcing activities in Europe for the Mobile Handset Solutions suppliers. These responsibilities include developing and stimulate the co-operation in the team, execute the sourcing tasks and meet goals in the region. This work will involve many parts of the company and has to be carried out in close co-operation with other departments concerned.
Sourcing Management is a global function with international travel estimated at 50-70 days/year.
Among the areas of responsibilities are:
• Identify supplier and set up purchasing agreements for materials identified by other parts of the organization with short lead time
• Continuously search for new suppliers, materials and components and introduce the findings to our organization
• Contribute to the cost down process
• Develop and manage broad and deep supplier relation with the key/strategic suppliers
• Communicate feedback from markets, suppliers and other sources of information to colleagues and departments internally
ErfarenhetQualifications and characteristics:
• 5 years plus of sourcing experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
• Strong negotiation skill and experience of supplier agreement and contract
• Proven track-record of cost reductions
• Possess the ability to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities and utilize a 'whatever it takes' professional attitude
• Self motivated and initiator
• Ability to act with great authority and empower others
• Outgoing with focus on business results
