The Role
The Koenigsegg embedded team is responsible for designing and developing software and electronics for the in-vehicle infotainment system, electronic control units (ECU) and supporting tools. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with a skilled and experienced test and automation engineer to ensure developed features are well tested through automation.
The responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with all development teams to do what is necessary to improve the test framework and achieve the level of testing that meet the teams goal.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed test plans, test cases and execute them to ensure software quality
Work closely with the different development teams to ensure the features are well tested
Develop automated test scripts that validate the software functionalities
Maintain regression tests and investigate failures of automated test executions
Architect, develop and implement features that leverage the latest embedded & connected technologies for Koenigsegg infotainment system.
In-depth understanding of Linux, including OS internals (device drivers, IPC, tools, libraries, etc.)
Participate in the assessment of the technical design, feasibility concept, and planning process.
Support debugging and root cause analysis related to the infotainment system.
Support our production and service departments.
Work with a small, agile cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.
Participate in the development of our way of working.
Requirements
Experience in software testing, automation development and/or QA engineering experience
Proven experience in test and automation in infotainment and/or connectivity for automotive related technologies
Experience with Agile development process (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, CI/CD)
Fluency in English
Experience with Agile development process (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, CI/CD)
Minimum 1 years of relevant, post-graduate, full time, experience
Desire and ability to work in a multi-tasking and highly dynamic environment
Proven programming skills in Python and/or Bash
Good to have
Experience in troubleshooting automotive electrical systems
Experience working with CAN bus protocols
Experience with over-the-air (OTA) update is a high merit
Experience in programming languages such as C and/or C++ is a plus
Experience in ISO26262 is a merit
Willingness to learn new technologies
