The group Driver Assistance Functions is responsible for several functions within the Driver Assistance area. Functions such as Pilot Assist, Adaptive Cruise control, Road Sign Information an Parking assistance is developed in the team. There is a high set goal to continue delivering world-class functions. We work in teams consisting of 6-9 employees. The teams consist of members from our group, as well as members from our verification department. The team that you will be a part of is self-administered and controls all deliverables that are requested from the different projects. The team develops semi and fully autonomous functions within the area of driver Assistance.
As a Software & Function Developer you will be part of a team of developers and verification engineers and be working in an agile scrum team. You will work close to different stakeholders such as function owners, system, sensor software owners and actuator developers and verification personnel. You will develop software with the help of model-based programming, analyse data, create and configure test simulation environment, perform function testing in real vehicles on test track and expeditions. You will develop and maintain tools to simplify data analysis and do system safety development. The role spans over several technical areas such as function, system, and software development. Since the functions we develop are distributed over different parts of the vehicle architecture, you will gain a wide network and frequent interactions with employees in other departments.
Main responsibilities
• Developing of software for decision and control within the function area
• Developing of unit testing of software
• Documentation of software
• Integration of software
Required qualifications
• M.Sc. degree within Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent experience
• Experience of the complete automotive embedded functions development chain such as defining solutions, software implementations, verification and analysis
• Knowledge in Software quality assurance methods
• Knowledge in Matlab and Simulink
• Experience from C/C++, System weaver, CANape, or SVN tortoise
• Driver's license B, valid in Sweden and adequate driving experience
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Experience from leadership is meritorious
