About the job Workplace Platforms has a key role to deliver IT development and maintenance services of the Windows platform, Microsoft services and other systems owned by Workplace and Collaboration in a flexible, cost effective and high quality manner to the Swedbank Group.

Workplace Platforms is a cross border unit, where we develop, automate and maintain the Windows platform and in-house operative applications.

Our area is a domain where we are working as DevOp's with both development and maintenance of the Microsoft operative products such as AD and System Center etc.

As a Software Engineer in Workplace Platform team you will be able to take part in design phase and influence the architecture solution. A solution that can be used by + 20 000 internal users.

Daily you will:

Develop and maintain our portal solution that supports automations where ex. Runbooks are built
Consume and build API's
Identify processes used as basis for future automation flows with focus on new technologies
Develop and maintain different Middleware solutions to align with MS Lifecycle of surrounding systems
Develop and maintain in-house web applications
Develop and maintain different integration solutions

What you need to succeed As a Software engineer to Workplace Platform team , we expect you to be a true team player, goal-oriented person with good communication skills (also fluent in English).

You are a problem solver who can communicate obstacles or suggestions in a simple way to your stakeholders as well to your team members. You see changes as a challenge and you strive for continuous improvement.

What you may have worked with previously You may have been working as a software engineer or developer and have a following skillset:

Ability to applicate unplanned/planned automation methods within these areas by using scripting/coding solutions
Scripting and programming knowledge in PowerShell, .NET and C#
Ability to consume and build REST and SOAP integrations
Experience in SQL Server and GIT, TFS

It is a bonus if you have knowledge in:

Javascript/ Angular
Windows and Microsoft operative applications
PKI infrastructure
Agile way of working
Experience in Modern Management
Experience within Macintosh domain management design
