Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
We are expanding the Lund software team and are looking for software engineers who have strong background in video coding. The role involves cooperating with other teams at our other sites in Europe. The focus is implementation and testing of video codec software.
Job Requirements
Education & Qualifications
Master of Science or PhD (computer science or electronics engineering) with good academic record.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Multiple years of professional industrial background within video coding technology
• Professional background in implementing video coding standards
• Experience with Linux host environments
• Expert level knowledge of embedded programming and C
• Professional experience from optimizing embedded software
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Knowledge of embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor and embedded system hardware architectures
• Experience with embedded software environments
• Experience with assembler-level programming and debugging (ARM desirable but not essential).
Interpersonal Skills
• Capable of working as a team player or independently
• Self motivation, flexibility, with strong inter-personal skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, oral and written.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other ARM offices.
