Software development - Driver Information

Purpose
We are now looking for an experienced software developer who is passionate in developing the next generation Volvo experience
Scope
In your role as SW developer at Driver Information, you are a member of a tight agile development team which is responsible to deliver the whole software package for the driver centric displays in the car. In tight collaboration with specialist within user experience and system develop you will develop SW for the instrument cluster and head up displays within Volvo Cars. Together with verification specialist you will secure quality & performance using simulations, CI machine and car testing.
Who you are
Your passion to create the best solutions to make life easier for the customer is contagious. You have an open mindset with focus to cooperate and find solutions that bring the highest value. You utilize your strong technical knowledge to find solutions that are feasible within the scope of the projects.
For this role it's important that you have solid experience in C++ programming, preferably in C++11/C++14/C++17, experience in Test Driven Development as well as in Git SCM.
You are fluent in English (verbal and written).
Following experiences are beneficial in this role:
• Experience in working with ASIL B compliant SW development
• Knowledge of SOMEIP/CAN/LIN protocols
• Experience in Python programming
• Experience in developing for QNX/posix platforms
• Experience in UI development in GLStudio, Unity or Qt
• Experience in CI work with Git/Gerrit/Jenkins/Artifactory
