At Tendium, we build cutting-edge AI solutions that help customers make sense of complex and fragmented procurement data. As part of our AI/ML Ops team, you will be responsible for the deployment, observability, and performance of our machine learning solutions. Your work will ensure that our data processing runs reliably at scale, enabling our customers to seamlessly interact with and extract value from critical information. You will also take ownership of integrating and optimizing robust, scalable databases that support our core data workflows, from document metadata and vector embeddings to structured procurement insights.

The JobThe work environment will be agile, and you'll work alongside self-sustaining teams. We are looking for primarily Stockholm based candidates and we work in a hybrid environment.
Our current stack:
Backend: NodeJS (TypeScript), GraphQL (microservice architecture),
DBs: PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, DocumentDB (MongoDB), S3
Infrastructure: AWS containerized and serverless compute through TypeScript CDK
Languages: Typescript (backend and infrastructure)
Who we are looking for
For this position, we seek an individual who can demonstrate responsibility and initiative, as well as great attention to detail. You should value structure and possess a good ability to write scalable code at both macro and micro levels. You need to be comfortable with data modelling and have an understanding of how data decisions made upstream in a data pipeline affect end results.
At Tendium, the tech teams work with continuous delivery and we aim for fast delivery with quality code, without over-engineering. We value constructive problem solving and are looking for someone who enjoys taking on new tasks and features and appreciates learning about and using new technology and solutions. Furthermore, we are on the lookout for individuals who find fulfillment in collaborative problem-solving and appreciate collaborating closely with team and colleagues (e.g. pair programming), and that is why we are looking for those qualities in you.
Ideal candidates should have a few years of experience in backend development with a focus on data engineering.
Note that by experience, we do not necessarily mean employment. We care about what you can do, not how long you've been on the payroll.
Requirements:
MSc Degree in computer science or similar
2+ years experience working with backend development.
Proficient in SQL databases, with hands-on experience in database setup and integration.
Experience working with Cloud storage or computing
Based in Stockholm or surrounding areas
Fluent in English
Meritorious:
Proficient in TypeScript
Experience working with large scale ML deployments.
AWS Experience
Wide experience in working with different AWS Storage solutions.
