hela Sverige We are on behalf of one of our customer in Göteborg looking for a consultant for the position as Software Configuration Management Specialist.
Job description:
The Software Configuration Management team within the Software Engineering department is looking for a Software Configuration Management Specialist. The successful candidate will be involved in development, maintenance and support of the complex CM infrastructure used by multiple development teams and projects.
As a Configuration Management Specialist you will:
Work in a centralized build/development environment that mainly consists of Linux (RHEL) servers. SLES/Solaris/AIX/HPUX/Windows operating systems are supported as well. We use Imake, Gmake, CMake, Ant, Maven tools to build C++/Java/Python code on a number of supported platforms
Required competence:
• Experience of working with Build engineering on Linux/Windows platforms
• Build engineering for Java and OSGi applications
• Working in cross functional teams and projects
• Candidates must be good team players with attention to detail, self-disciplined, able to manage their own time and workload, proactive and motivated
• Candidates shall also have good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Wanted competence:
• Resolving issues related to the dependency management and binary compatibility
• Integrating various SCM build tools and environments
• Previous work as developer
• Writing SCM plans and keeping them up to date
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4 months with possibility for further extension.
Location: Göteborg
Work load: 100%
Working language: Swedish & English
