hela Sverige The English Shop, Uppsala, is located in the centre of Uppsala and is a busy, friendly shop that also has a small café. We are now looking for a new Manager for the shop, to start at the beginning of September. We are looking for someone with solid retail experience, and who has the energy and ambition to build our customer base and drive sales.
To apply for this role you must have the following:
Experience of working in a retail environment
In-depth knowledge of English food, drink and culture
Fluent English, and Swedish to Svenska B level
Management/supervisory experience
Sound organisational and team management skills
Responsibilities include:
Supervision of staff working in the shop
Serving customers and answering customer queries
Keeping the shop clean and tidy
Dealing with deliveries, checking följsedel
Ordering goods to ensure the shop is fully stocked
Please note only applicants that have retail experience will be considered for interview. The post includes weekend working.
