Contracted Services & Services Sales Department
Sales and Marketing has the responsibility for our customer offer and business strategy for Trucks, Bus, Power Solutions, Parts and Services, as well as sales support. Global support and IT applications are provided to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network creating the right conditions for an efficient retail and wholesale operation.

We are now in an intensive and exciting period as part of the digital transformation journey. By digitalizing our products and processes we are challenging how much faster can we improve, develop & implement our service sales methods and solutions. This is to further improve the services business growth, and increase administration efficiency, but also to be able to support new service business models.
Our department is now looking for a new team member with a focus on supporting the global service and dealer network with the best possible methods, tools, systems and training to reach Sales & Marketing targets, service revenue (People & Planet, Customer Satisfaction, Growth and Transformation, Profitability & Flow) sustainably.
Main responsibility is to act as Process Owner, to secure, continuously develop, measure, challenge the Workshop & Warehouse process. This means that you need to be able to act depending on a given task as : Process Owner (PO), Journey Lead (JL), Concept Developer (CD), Implementation Manager (IM) to fulfil this level of job.
Your tasks
• Transfer processes related to Workshop and Warehouse to system requirements (demands).
• Set demands and drive the development within the development teams.
• Develop new service concepts and supporting processes linked to them.
• Take responsibility for the whole value chain, from the business case, concept development, pilot in the market, to full global implementation.
• Securing that we deliver value to the end customer.
• Plan, coordinate and follow up the project activities.
• Improve and continuously challenge the processes related to Workshop and Warehouse .
• Promoting and explaining the services concept to stakeholders and Business Units.
• Work in close cooperation with distributors, our retail network, customers and internal departments within Scania.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with extensive experience in the services business. In this position, you need to have the ability to develop and challenge our methods, tools and processes. Experience in service performance measuring solutions is also highly recommended since there is considerable collaboration with IT teams belonging to the same cross-functional group. Implementations are done together with several stakeholders and, therefore, you need to have good personal skills and the ability to implement both processes and systems. Sometimes you will also act as a trainer towards our service network.
To feel comfortable within this role you need to be able to take responsibility, work at the forefront of process development and enjoy the challenge of working with a broad network of people. You have the services sales business experience, including follow-up of the business, to understand how customer value is created and how can that be supported by digitalization and other solutions. You will also be using your experience to challenge existing service business models and develop new ideas on how to increase customer loyalty and service sales penetration on Scania rolling parc.
We believe that you have a wide experience of Scania products, services and processes. Market experience is desirable. The fact that you are pedagogical, communicative, structured and independent is a given to us. The external contacts in our service network require that you are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit.
The team
Within Sales & Marketing we are a team of 8 employees consisting of Contract Development Managers, and Service Development Managers committed to enhancing the development of the services sales business in our network. As a Service Development Manager, you will be able to work with an experienced team supporting the global services organisation to achieve the best possible performance by developing service products and effective methods. Besides that, you will also be in a group that will highly support you and where you can broaden your knowledge within the Services Sales Business, including Contracted Services.
