General Solutions, 9540, offers resources and deliveries within support, maintenance and development for applications, products and services, including the business administration area. The Business Administration part within GS is the non SAP part. General Applications consist of solutions that are not related to a specific process. "Business Solutions" is a group within General Solutions that is responsible for a mixture of applications on different platforms, for both local and global customers (internal and external). We provide Maintenance, Support, Enhancement and New Development within the following areas; NAP (Non Automotive Purchasing), Siebel Solutions, HR and Finance.
The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is responsible for maintenance services delivery according to the SLA (Service Level Agreement). This applies to one or a set of applications as well as related infrastructure deliveries in scope of the SLA. Delivering maintenance services can involve resources from different Volvo IT sites/departments as well as non-Volvo IT resources.
As SDM for this portfolio you will be responsible for systems within Business Administration area owned by all Volvo Headquarter companies such as NAP, VBS, IT Governance and Alviva, all shared by the same account team.
This portfolio contains applications that are common for all Volvo Group and have users in one or several of the BA/BU's.
One of the initial task for you as SDM will be to be a part of establishing a setup of this portfolio to ensure that it is in line with the guidelines provided by the central project for the SDM and Maintenance structure. Since the delivery team will consist of global resources you need to be able to cooperate with people in an international environment.
Your profile:
You have broad IT background and long experience from handling deliveries to customers. You have good leadership skills and feel comfortable in using them when aiming for cost, quality, efficiency and time targets. You like structure and are solution oriented with a holistic view always aiming for customer satisfaction. You also have a very strong social competence and are perceived as service minded.
General qualifications and skills:
• Academic qualifications within the relevant field
• Broad IT background
• Leadership skills
• Strong Communication skills
• Proven abilities to communicate and establish good customer relations
• Communicative team-player
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
• Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English
• Work experience as a high level maintenance manager, Customer Service Manager or equivalent
• Service minded - customer focus
• Courage and ability to communicate and explain the content of the services within the agreement/portfolio from a delivery perspective
• Capacity to execute against set targets
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain a human network
• Experience from work in customer/account teams. Used to daily contact with customers
