You will become a part of Control Technologies in Västerås. We are the largest business unit within the Industrial Automation division and our main task is to develop and deliver automation systems to both internal and external customers worldwide. Our customers come from areas such as oil and gas, pulp & paper, and the metal industry. Our Distributed Control Systems (DCS), System 800xA and Heritage DCS (Advant, Master, Satt ) are well established in the market.

Tasks:
The Service Center in Västerås is responsible for Control Technologies aftermarket services and upgrades for ABB's flagship DCS, ABB 800xA, as well as for ABB's Heritage distributed control systems. The Service Center team consist of 20 people working closely together with different competencies and know-how of the aftermarket business.

As Service Area Sales Manager you are responsible for ABB sales in a particular region, usually several countries. Mainly our sales responsibilities lies within Europe and also globally for some products. You will work proactively with services offerings and build relationships with our sales channels to support them in existing business, identify and drive new business opportunities as well as lead targeted business campaigns.

We believe in using digitalization to improve our offerings. Power BI is used as an analyzing tool to find and create new business opportunities and deliver relevant information, which helps local sales organizations and end customers in their decision making.
Further, you will constantly work with internal and other functions within Control Technologies, with ABB internal customers as well as end customers, all in order to transform ABB skills to increased customer value with sustainable digital solutions. Travelling a few times a year is required for the role.

Requirements:
You have a Master degree and a work experience in sales or project management. If you have previous experience in working closely to customers in the Process Industry and knowledge in control system it is meritorious.

To be successful in this role, it is important that you are driven, social and creative. Since we work with a broad network both internally and externally, it is crucial to build good working relationships.

Your positive attitude and ability to see opportunities instead of obstacles is an important contribution to the business. Proficiency in English and Swedish is also a requirement.
