Position description:
The department Solid Mechanics & Structural Dynamics is a department within Engineering Labs, Product Development, responsible for method development and availability of highly skilled employees for commercial, space and military engines projects and programs. We are today about 24 experienced employees. The people in the department take part in all stages of the product development process, from conceptual design studies, up until the verification of the final product. We are also involved in advanced engineering of future concepts, manufacturing and product support after product launch.
Job description:
The work as Solid Mechanics Engineer spans over a wide range of different design phases and products. You will be part of a design team, performing analyses, making syntheses and reports in order to justify made design choices or non-conformances. You will participate in both internal and external reviews with our customers in order to assure design quality.
You will also work closely with our product departments.
Qualifications:
MSc or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering
Industrial experience of product development
Fluent in English
Excellent in co-operation and networking and high social skills
Skilled planning capability and the ability to look ahead
Good understanding of the customers? needs
Experience from aerospace industry is valuable
