Senior Safety Engineer
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Safety Engineer at Worley to help deliver safe and efficient projects for clients in the oil & gas, chemical, and green industries. You'll use your expertise to ensure projects meet safety standards, reduce risks, and foster a safety-first culture within a supportive, talented team. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll provide technical support and leadership, tackling meaningful challenges and contributing to innovative solutions. You will be part of a company that values your growth and expertise.
You'll be:
Lead process safety engineering services, including risk assessments, safety case development, and safety system design.
Analyze fire, explosion, and gas dispersion risks and find ways to reduce them.
Manage and plan HSE operations, combining engineering and safety knowledge to ensure safe project delivery.
Provide technical support to your team and collaborate with colleagues across engineering disciplines.
Stay updated on industry trends and ensure safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll have:
A degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
Extensive experience in process safety engineering, ideally in oil & gas, chemical, or green industries.
Knowledge of risk assessments, safety system design, and fire/explosion analysis.
Strong HSE operations experience and solid decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
Fluent in English, with Swedish as an advantage.
