Who we are
The Strategy and Business Models team is part of Solutions Management within the Trucks department at Sales & Marketing. Our overlaying vision is to support and guide the organization to optimize the truck business by securing the long-term direction.
The team consists of ten experienced colleagues with different nationalities and backgrounds. We work in a climate where collaboration is key, opinions and knowledge are openly shared and we support and challenge each other to continuously improve and develop. We are now looking for a new team member who is interested in continuing to develop our team and contribute to solving our assignment.
What you will do
In this position, you will be at the centre of the transformation of our business. You will be doing a combination of leading, supporting, and guiding in a dynamic work environment where our customers, the everchanging transport system and business opportunities define what we do.
As a Senior Product Manager you will be a key stakeholder in implementing Scania's corporate strategy, through projects derived from Solution Management 's strategy. You will also be responsible for, with a product offering perspective, identifying potentials and market needs to increase volume and profitability for a specific region. In total, we have four regions with one Senior Product Manager responsible for each region. One key activity is to chair the regional forum for the specific region, enabling close collaboration with Strategic Sales Directors and Product Managers.
This role is very cross-functional throughout Scania and the work will be done in close cooperation with all areas within Sales & Marketing and Commercial Operations.
Who you are
We believe that you have an interest and experience in working with both Scania's product and commercial offering and that you are organized, flexible, have a personal drive, business know-how, strategic thinking and leadership skills.
The most important qualities of a Senior Product Manager centre around experience, skill set and knowledge. Based on these qualities you should be able to initiate or solve varying complex issues pragmatically and effectively. We value that you proactively initiate activities with the most potential for developing the truck business and supporting Scania's strategy.
The role will take you to many different environments, internally as well as externally so you will need to deal with cultural differences and master English fluently.
