hela Sverige Discovery Networks Legal is hiring a Senior Manager in Sweden to support the Nordic region in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment in a constantly evolving industry!
The role
As Senior Manager - Legal your role will include the following:
• Providing day to day support and guidance to the business locally and across the Nordics, the Director Legal and Senior Director on a wide variety of commercial matters as well as regulatory matters relevant to a broadcaster (such as broadcasting regulation, marketing, consumer law and copyright law).
• Providing support and guidance to the Global Legal teams in specialist areas.
• Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, including partnership, services, advertising/sponsorship and rights clearance as well as providing support to Director Legal and Senior Director Legal in drafting and negotiating affiliate (distribution) agreements.
• All other general support to the Nordics Legal team as requested
• Implementing and actioning tasks on a local basis that are in line with global Legal deliverables
The place of work will be Stockholm and you will report to the Director Legal based in Stockholm.
Who are you?
You have a Swedish law degree, minimum 3 - 5 years of professional media/technology / IP law and general private law experience in an international environment, ideally law firm and/or multi-national company. Preferably, you have a good knowledge of television business and general entertainment industry as well as 'new media ' developments. You have proven experience in giving fast and efficient business-minded legal support as well as in drafting and negotiating agreements. You have excellent negotiation skills and sound business judgment. You have a flexible mindset to changes, you are curious, agile and comfortable in dealing with uncertainty is a must. Excellent knowledge of business English is required.
