Job Description

To support this change journey, we are now building a completely new People Analytics Community of Expertise. For this team, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who wants to take on the responsibility of translating business challenges into projects, products and tools that will enable the HR function and the organisation to make better decisions and contribute to the H&M group being the best employer around.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of data scientists to support the people analytics agenda. Working closely together with the People Analytics consultants to partner with the HR community and drive maximum impact of the insights your team will produce leveraging data science. There is a high degree of autonomy and the possibility to shape the agenda, which will allow you to come with creative and innovative solutions.

Qualifications
Who we are looking for?
Just like everybody at H&M you are results-driven, open-minded, curious, ambitious and collaboratively focused. You have strong communications and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities. You are also highly analytical with a strong business mindset, keen to make an impact for our business with your technical expertise and to communicate data insights in business consumable format.
Furthermore, you have:
• A degree within applied mathematics, statistics, physics or engineering or similar field (e.g. machine learning). Social Science degrees (e.g., I/O Psychology, Behavioral Economics) combined with extensive data science experience will also be considered.
• 6+ years developing real-life (actually used in a business scenario) statistical modeling in industry tools with primary focus on R or Python
• 4+ years experience in AI/ML, Statistical techniques such as prediction modeling, text analytics, sentiment analysis, and/or path analysis, forecasting, various regression techniques, clustering, factor reduction, with the ability to explain results
• 2+ years experience in a people management role, delivering analytic solutions
• People Analytics experience, exposure to HR processes and Data Sources
• Experience with Agile methodology for team work and analytics 'project' and 'product' creation
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView is a plus
• Fluency in English
