The Senior Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis work focusing on short and long-term financial planning and/or financial analysis of business operations for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance, focused on gross margin and pricing analysis, and financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities.

A Senior level analyst is a recognized subject matter expert in job area obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager and may include coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Emphasis on completing the monthly reporting package presented to the senior leadership team.
You will
• Supports the development of the current product portfolio by collaborating with the business management to identify key drivers, risks and opportunities and mitigation plans.
• Assists in the development of the strategic plan by modeling out future initiatives and helping the leadership team understand the drivers behind future revenue streams, returns on investment and prioritization of key initiatives.
• Performs ad hoc financial modeling to support existing and new business opportunities.
About you
• Extensive experience as a Financial Analyst, Finance Manager or similar role (7-10 years).
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management within the international organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with business intelligence tools (Power BI).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with developing and presenting topics to senior management.
This is a temporary role until February 2023, for the right candidate there are changes for a long-term position within the company.
Your work day
• Deliver regular and ad-hoc financial and business analysis
• Understand business performance and provide insightful analysis to the entities.
• Constructs proforma financials to support business decisions.
• Ensure accurate and timely information to the business and management team.
• Coordinate the financial processes with other areas (sales, product)
• Performs sensitivity analysis on key financial drivers to help management understand the potential financial impact of decisions.
• Recommends new or modified reporting to improve both the quality and data of the presentation.
