Qualified candidates will enjoy working with customers in the chemical industry on a wide variety of projects involving refined petroleum products and related facilities. Candidates will experience a fast paced, high demand work environment, managing multiple projects for a variety of customers and coordinating efforts with multiple disciplines and support resources.

Work description:
You will be part of our Electrical department and you will work within all project phases from feasibility studies to execution phase. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead projects in design and engineering work in the petrochemical industry. You have an important role in the projects, and you work closely with other engineering disciplines. Depending on where in the projects you are located, your tasks vary.
You will work within cost estimating, construction, programming and commissioning of electrical facilities, for example substation, switchgear, cable calculation, electrical tracing and fire and alarm protection systems. The position involves quality assurance of electrical equipment, brainstorming electrical design options and supporting younger/less experienced engineers in their day to day work. You are used to participate in safety review meetings and taking responsibility for both technical and administrative tasks. As most of our projects are executed close to customer sites, we have the benefit of receiving constant feedback between design and execution.
Specific Accountabilities
Responsible to lead the team into delivery of scope with quality, in time and within budget.
Plan and follow up with all resources available in the team including global workshare resources.
Coordinate and align with other Worley disciplines in the customer's project portfolio.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Candidates must as a minimum have a BSc degree (or equivalent) in Electric Engineering,
A minimum of five years engineering and design experience in all aspects of electrical engineering.
Experience of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, electrical application programs and cable calculation programs
English and Swedish, fluent in speech and writing.
It is a merit with experience from the process, paper industry, nuclear power or refinery industry.
As a person you have a structured, curious and prestige less personality. You are efficient and striving for the best solution. Besides that, you are also a communicative person sense the role is wide and you handle many different tasks and people, this is something you enjoy and are comfortable with.
Being a team player is important, but when needed, you have no hesitation in taking the lead. You also have a great interest in technology and drive your development to take more responsibility in the technical work in the future. You have a systematic approach to planning and prioritizing tasks as well as following up on KPI metrics.
