We are looking for an operationally experienced Supply Chain Professional to build and lead our Supply Chain team at Northvolt ETT in Skellefteå, Sweden. As a team, and in co-operation with Group Supply Chain organisation, you will tactically and operationally design, implement, grow, and drive all Planning and Logistics, Procurement, and Supplier Quality activities related to the operation and expansion of our Gigafactory, including cathode manufacturing plant, in Skellefteå. The site is currently under intense ramp-up and focus of the local supply chain team is to enable manufacturing ramp-up, support seamless installation and commissioning of new blocks as well as maintenance of operational facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be reporting to the CEO of Northvolt ETT and be part of the Management team as well as the Group Supply Chain leadership team of Northvolt.
Your future responsibilitiies:
Build, grow and lead the Site Supply Chain team consisting of Planning and Logistics, Procurement and Supplier Quality specialists sharing the passion for Operations.
Represent Supply Chain Management in the Northvolt ETT management team and ensure early involvement through cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, Maintenance, etc).
Lead tactical response to supply chain challenges impacting service performance, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
Build a competitive and reliable supply network of partners for locally provided goods and services and implement framework agreements for regionally or globally managed categories.
Support operations with supplier management, sourcing, and tactical procurement in close collaboration with the Group Procurement teams for constructions, equipment, materials, and indirect spend.
Act as part of the team coordinating equipment installation and integration to ensure timely and orderly scaling of our manufacturing capacities (buildings, equipment, and services).
Collaborate with the Group Supply Chain team (SIOP, Materials Procurement) to generate material requirements from the demand plan and ensure the sourcing plan supports production.
Secure reliability of site demand and supply forecasting, inventory planning and capacity management to meet the needs of Northvolt's customers during ramp-up and serial production.
Assesses, develop, and improve material flow, material-handling and warehousing processes. Make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of all supplies and finished goods.
Liaise with nominated Logistics Service Providers - plan, book and oversee performance of inbound and outbound transportation, as well as intra-site cargo movements.
Ensure adherence with all applicable compliance standards and regulations to ensure Northvolt is operating in integrity, e.g., for tax and immigration requirements related to our local and international partners.
Monitor performance metrics for suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements, drive supplier development in collaboration with the Group Supply Chain teams.

Adopt Northvolt 's sustainability targets and embed sustainability criteria to partner selection and implement sustainable supply chain solutions.
Lead the ongoing local implementation of process- and technology improvements and drive continuous operational improvement and efficiency with the Group Supply Chain Excellence team.

Your profile

This position is a full-time employment and will include occasional traveling to other Northvolt sites and suppliers.

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management roles, including a minimum of five years in a leadership role
Proven track record of building strong and efficient teams
Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others
Experience in factory expansions and operational start-up
Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent in communication in English, written and spoken
