MAS/DCL Solutions
MAS/DCL Solutions, "Market and Sell Total Offer/Deliver & Develop Customer Loyalty" is a global unit within Group IT. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group 's IT solutions and IT projects within the area of MAS/DCL are managed in an optimal way.
Role mission & context
As a Senior Business Analysis Professional you will work with the deliveries of our solutions. You will together with the Solution Leader and Solution Expert secure the delivery the end user, business and IT requirements for the solutions and support the full utilization of the solutions.
You will work in a team with close cooperation with the Solution Leader, Solution Expert, the Project Manager, the Delivery Leaders responsible of the development, and of course also closely together with the entire development team. It includes both onetime and runtime deliveries in the application management context.
Responsibilities
Main activities and responsibilities
• Understand customer and user requirements, their strategies, and their goals
• Understand the relation between business and IT requirements and suggest solutions
• Plan and execute User Experience or Business Analysis activities in a project or runtime delivery.
• Secure the customer and/or end user's business objectives, needed to prepare solution requirements
• Handle customer contact regarding all tasks that concern requirements
• Responsible for the description of the As-Is process and the To-Be process and their alignment with VGMS.
• Meet or support user needs and goals, following existing User Experience Standards and Guidelines.
• Ensure that requirements and/or designed solution are correctly understood and used by development team
• Support prioritization of scope based on end user needs and business value
• Initiate communication channels for end users and stakeholders to ensure that everyone working with the solution understands for whom the solution is created and their needs
• Propose changes that make the software product more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance cost
• Continuously work to improve existing ways of working
• Facilitate workshops on local site according to recommended methods
• Understand complex issues and identify opportunities and risks
• Recommend alternative solutions and identify deficiencies when necessary
• Coach Business Analysis Professionals at previous steps
• Support the SL to secure and maintain complete solution documentation including user manual and training material and its execution for the solution
• Support the review of and analyse the business process and business requirements and its impact on the overall solution

As a Senior Business Analysis Professional you will create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation. You have proven experience in business and excel in demonstrating core values according to the Volvo Way.
Since you are part of a global unit, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.
Required competencies
• Relevant domain understanding
• Knowledge of managing direct interaction with business stakeholders regarding solution requirements
• Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
• Customer focused, teamwork skills and a well-structured approach
• Knowledge of system requirement work
• Knowledge of the area in scope
• Ability to drive change
• Good documentation skills
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
