Background
Wacom is currently seeking for a Senior Account Manager, Consumer Business Unit for the Nordic region positioned in Stockholm. In this position you are responsible for driving sales of consumer products by developing and managing new accounts in Consumer Electronics (CE) channel and other channels; She/he will be part of the European consumer business unit team and will directly report to Vice President Consumer Sales (USA).
Key responsibilities and activities
• Drive Wacom consumer business through developing, owning and managing new customers in the CE channel as well as in new channels e.g. hyper (food & non-food), department stores, telecom, office, book stores, variety, airport and others.
• Define product assortment & mix in these accounts, achieve fast outlet penetration, in-store visibility and category shelf share in order to achieve highest possible sell-out and run rate.
• Lead a cultural shift towards a sell-out driven sales culture.
• Maintain updated product presentations, personally introduce new products at key customers.
• Own and manage A&P sales promotion budget to push sell-out results. Develop, maintain and own regional sales promotion plan for owned accounts.
• Drive in-store/POS excellence in terms of planogram, display, shelf execution in retail and online in owned accounts.
• Pro-actively analyse and push central warehouse excess stock, work on pricing with team lead.
• Monitor stock and sell-out in owned accounts. Identify overstock issues at customer, propose and execute corrective actions.
• Measure the retail performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and provide objective analysis of future market and potential market opportunities.
• In addition to weekly and monthly updates/reporting, develop and exchange periodic and ad-hoc sales reports on qualitative and quantitative performance, market developments and competitive threats.
Candidate profile
Suitable candidate will be a skilled and experienced sales professional with a strong personality and drive to implement and to realise sales and result. The experience ideally includes retail and etail business within a similar line of business.
Skills and experience
• Strong experience (3-5 years) and commercial success as Area Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or comparable, ideally in industries such as consumer electronics, consumer durables, FMCG or comparable industries
• Strong understanding and working experience with retailers and etailers in this industry.
• Strong experience within the consumer space and in-depth understanding of the mechanics and sell-out levers in consumer retail and etail.
• Ability to quickly and concisely summarize sales performance, outlook, current issues etc. to senior level management.
• Very strong personality with ability to influence others and take full ownership of results.
• Strong oral and written communication and influencing skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels of partner organization and within Wacom
• Fluency in English and Swedish is required.
Education
Bachelor degree (an adequate educational level without university degree but with the appropriate professional experience is alternatively equally conceivable).
