As SCM Specialist, your main focus is to monitor and improve supplier performance in assembly and quality. You master in this by rolling-out quality standards and by improving manufacturing processes according to known principles. You will also be responsible to manage and implement cost-out programs to reach given business targets.
You will be part of multinational team located on different countries and time-zones. Hub has major locations in three locations and suppliers on different countries. You will be responsible on the given categories/suppliers across the locations also, thus traveling is essential.
You will represent our organization in supporting R&D projects and solving daily ad-hoc tasks.
All your work will be carried out according to ABB Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.

You hold at least Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent, along with at least three years? experience from Supply Chain Management, Procurement/Purchasing or quality related tasks. To be able to improve quality and assembly at the suppliers premises requires you to be able enforce your view relentlessly. Thus you need to have ?where there?s a will, there?s a way? attitude.

Being able to combine teamwork with driving your work onward is another needed trait for this position. Your clear commercial focus, in combination with your persistence and drive, helps you reach the results you strive for. Given the nature of this role, your analytical mind is yet another asset you will get full use of.
