www.engelska.se We are looking for an IT representative at IES Sigtuna. We are a school for grades F-9 with 600 students and 70 members of staff. WE follow the Swedish national curriculum with up to 50% of teaching in English.

You have a passion for IT and enjoy sharing your knowledge, as well as working in an international educational environment where there are high expectations. You are a team player who is competend and can manage to be involved in many areas at the same time. You are a positivbe and outgoing person which enables you to give the best support and build confidence in the ICT area for our staff and students.
The Role
The role is entry level and very diverse. To support you in your role there are both a local and central onboarding process, as well as a central information system to guide you in most tasks you will encounter. You will also be a member of the IES IT Representative group where tools for communication and advice between schools is done in the form of bi-weekly themed training sessions, drop-in video chats as well as a mandatory monthly video meeting hosted by IES HQ. All our services are provided by external drift partners and you will be in close contract with them for support and maintenance.
Main Responsibilities
On a school level:
• IT resource planning and maintenance (using existing suppliers and solutions)
• IT support and training of staff and students
• IT operations, including informing service providers on issues
• Following IT and Information Security Guidelines
Your qualifications and background
Previous experience of system administration and hardware maintenance is an advantage. Our main platform is Google Workspace for Education (formerly known as Google Apps). You are comfortable service minded and comfortable with presenting workshops and training modules tailored for staff and students.
