In 2017, Polestar launched the Polestar 1 - a low-volume Electric Performance Hybrid GT. In 2020, the Polestar 2 was launched as the company's first fully electric, higher volume premium car designed to compete with the Tesla Model 3. In the future, Polestar 3 will join the portfolio as a fully electric performance SUV.

We're looking for a detailed, innovative and hands-on professional to manage our market campaigns and offers for Polestar products and ensure competitive and compelling product positioning across our markets. This role reports to VP Global Sales & Network in Sweden.
What you will do
This role is responsible for managing Polestar's market price and campaign offers, including assisting with the long-term offer plan for Polestar cars, and playing a key role in corporate development, delivering market-ready products. This role will also evaluate and communicate competitive research and market analysis to company executives and establish partnerships with key stakeholders and vendors to drive additional demand for Polestar products.
Key Responsibilities: Working closely with the teams in the Polestar markets:
• Evaluate industry trading conditions, including national and local subsidy and incentive programmes
• Work closely with financial service providers to ensure market relevant consumer positioning and competitiveness
• Develop and manage market specific incentives and sales support programmes
• Provide financial analysis on the impact from incentive programmes on Polestar's profitability in each market by car line and variant
• Support long term market volume planning based on industry and market data
• Analyse electric vehicle industry and segments where Polestar will be selling vehicles
• Evaluate future competitor model entrants and positioning
• Review and report on automotive industry competitors and benchmarking Polestar's price and offer
• Support product development programme with market-specific inputs based on market analysis and consumer expectations
• Financial analysis on the impact of product decisions on market profitability
Who you are
Experience in price benchmarking, competitive and product analysis to provide market intelligence and competitive benchmarking
• Experience in data analysis, financial analysis, and sales analysis
• Experience in product offering including planning process, partnerships, product/project management, and business case preparation
• Experience with product offer management (ideally in automotive industry), including analyzing and recommending key product offerings
• Experience developing strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and vendors
• Thrives in a dynamic, startup environment and has a passion for electric vehicles and cleantech
