To our office in Gothenburg we are looking for a Sales Manager focused on the Pulp and Paper as well as the Power Generation business in Scandinavia.
Valmet in Gothenburg engineers, produces and delivers Recovery and Power boilers and Evaporation plants for the Pulp and Paper industry and environmentally friendly Power and Heat boilers for technically demanding fuels.
As Sales Manager, your work consists of establishing and developing good relationships as well as being the contact person for assigned customers (Key Account Manager) and will, together with our customers, realize and optimize their requirements in operation, maintenance and safety.
The role is focused on Scandinavia where Valmet has a large customer base and the main task will be sales of upgrades and maintenance of boilers. You identify the needs of the customer and create interest and knowledge of our products.
You should have the ability to work long-term and strategically, and to be a resource for our customers in terms of new ideas, products and services. Negotiation and contract knowledge is a natural part of the job, as well as travelling.
REQUIREMENTS
The position as Sales Manager requires a technical expertise, therefore you need to have a solid education in mechanical, process or similar areas. Documented experience from sales within the Power Generation or Pulp and Paper industry is also a requirement for this position. As a person you are passionate to deliver the best results. You are solution-oriented, have a strategic perspective and good planning skills. Furthermore, you have experience of negotiations.
With your good communication and interpersonal skills you are able to build and keep up good relationships with both external and internal clients. Good command of both Swedish and English language is essential in this position.
