Modvion develops the next generation of towers for wind turbines, a patented modular construction made of laminated wood. The technology enables wind turbines to reach higher altitudes and increased wind resources. Using laminated wood - nature's carbon fibre - can change the wind industry by enabling efficient logistics for tall wind turbine towers in previous inaccessible locations. All while drastically reducing the carbon footprint from wind power.

What will you do?

We offer a visionary position working with customers that want to drive change within the wind power industry. The companies that share the vision that renewable energy should be produced with renewable materials. You will be an integral part of the sales team and pave the way through establishing and building customer relations in order to expand the sales pipeline. We will challenge the industry and establish wooden towers as the top choice going forward. Your focus will be on finding and building relations with our direct customers but also our customers customer with both a short and a long-term perspective. To be successful in the role you will have to collaborate and work cross-functionally with your talented and technically skilled colleagues.

We are a small and tight team in the starting blocks of changing the industry. As a business developer you will be a core member of the Sales and Business Development team.

Tasks will include:

• Lead, develop and close sales projects, you will target both current and new customers.

• Contribute in the development of sales processes and sales strategy

• Build relations and create interest for our customers to have trust in our products and join the ride when the times come.

• Lead activities to facilitate greater understanding of our product and gain trust among our interested parties.

• Manage a broad pipeline of potential customers from low volume in the short perspective to large frame agreements in the long-term perspective.

• Represent Modvion at exhibitions, seminars, conferences and other events.

• Lead and drive the projects with the overall responsibility until a contract is signed.

We're looking for

Someone with passion for doing business and building relations based on trust and collaboration. You should have 5 years+ experience from leading technical sales projects. You don't have to be a technical expert, but we believe that you have an engineering background from university, or equivalent. To be successful in the role it is a strong merit if you have experience from the wind industry and/or from doing business with large organizations.

As a person you can cooperate well with others and enjoy working in team. You have a strong self-drive and the perseverance to keep up the engagement throughout the full project cycle. You are a great communicator and are fluent in both English and Swedish

The position is based from our office and HQ in Gothenburg with the opportunity to work from home when needed. Travelling will also be a natural ingredient in this position.
