As Sales Manager you will be responsible for our international sales with main markets such as Germany, Poland and the Baltic states.

You will be a key player in building further growth and taking AAK's technical products business to the next level. You will also be responsible for driving commercial initiatives and manage interactions with customers, including:

• Develop and grow Tefac business (volume, NM) in the assigned markets.

• Develop, execute, and manage market plans and commercial initiatives to optimise total sales.

• Manage and update the sales forecast, including the monitoring of yearly budget targets. Identify target deviations and recommend/initiate countermeasures.

• Set selling prices according to the market.

• Conduct regular customer visits, make regular sales calls, and interface with customer representatives at industry events, conferences and trade shows, etc.

• Maintain and act upon regular reports: monthly sales report, market plan, opportunity pipeline, visit reports, etc.

The position requires the ability to travel 80-100 days per year.

The position is based in our office in Karlshamn, Sweden, where also the production unit is placed. The Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Tefac, Lena Ingvarsson.

Who are you?

Experience:

To be successful in this role you have several years of professional experience from international sales within the B2B environment and it is an advantage if you hold a University degree in chemistry or similar.

You have good communication skills, both oral and written. Fluency in Swedish and English is a prerequisite.

Personal qualities:

We expect you to see the opportunities in customer dialogue and to drive the process to completion. You have strong customer focus and are good at building long-term relationships and are motivated by reaching the department's goals. You have a high commercial drive and a strong business acumen. It is essential that you have a commercial interest combined with a pro-active mind-set and a high level of motivation. You have a structured way of working and interacting with your customers as well as your colleagues. You like to be part of a team but you are also able to work independently.

Tefac business area consists of a small and dedicated team where we work with high involvement and quick response time. We pride ourselves in developing and delivering top performance products to applications in for example the candle, rubber and the detergent industries.
