hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Supporting this is the Digital Driver Workplace, the next generation of combined instrument clusters and infotainment systems. The system has a central role in the vehicle and is tasked with managing driver interaction, displaying all relevant information from the vehicle, as well as providing SW services such as media and navigation. Scania is developing the next generation of systems to meet both new legal requirements and the rapid development in the area.
In this exciting area we are looking for one more safety manager to strengthen the team. You will help drive functional safety activities and see that we comply with ISO26262 requirements. You will actively participate in product development, quality-related topics, and reliability activities to ensure that automotive safety standards are achieved and maintained for both current and future products.
Your role
You will be responsible for driving the functional safety approach across organizational boundaries and with the management. You also guide engineers and external stakeholders. A big field of work will be to produce, either directly or indirectly, all the necessary work products, including but not limited to;
• Safety concepts and plans
• Support in the development of HARA's
• FMEA
• Conduct safety reviews
• Safety requirements
• Safety verification and validation activities
Your profile
You have experience working with ISO26262. With this, you have gained knowledge and industry experience with safety concepts, hazard analysis and risk assessment for Automotive Embedded hardware and software, at both system and sub-system levels.

You have a degree in engineering from a university or equal work experience and excellent oral and written communication skills in English. If you don't have all the required skills, we will help you develop in your role!
