Autonomous vehicles, connectivity and electro-mobility challenge Scania 's R&D organisation in a new way. To ensure highest quality and functional safety of our products we are focusing on improvements within Scania 's development processes, methods and IT-systems.

We meet future needs with a clever system design and good communication to improve the workflow of approximately one thousand people working with development of Scania 's E/E-system.

We are facing a very exciting transformation towards a more flow driven and digitalized working process with agile methods and high performing self-organizing teams.

Your responsibility
Understanding the business strategies and visualise and document the future IT landscape that enables the R&D 's goals. Keep an overview of the existing solutions and work with the transformation of the current state towards the established goals.

Participate in the portfolio work within the domain. Coordinate, plan and drive architectural initiatives to reach the vision. Ensure and secure a modular architecture. Together with other architects you are responsible for ensuring that we develop and design scalable and sustainable technical solutions. By joining us, you will take part of an exciting journey towards higher level of digitalisation enabling safe and efficient autonomous vehicles, and a better and more creative workflow for Scania 's engineers.

Your profile
We are looking for applicants with a MSc or PhD in Information Technology or similar. At least 3-5 years of work experience within the field is a minimum.

In order to be successful you need to have:

• Experience of understanding business needs and working with key technology stakeholders
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent architecture diagramming capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, good at networking and creating relationships
• Ability to create effective requirement documentation and review them with project stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization
• Experience and practice from using agile working methodsYou should have a positive attitude and be able to cooperate with the team, but also work independently when required. Your ability to take responsibility, be structured and self-propelled is very important. You must be proficient in written and spoken English and Swedish.
