Main Purpose of the Role

The DICE RPM Lab is responsible for supporting QA, Development and Marketing in Stockholm. As well as worldwide territories and other RPM Labs, to provide protection and tracking for EA?s intellectual property. The main purpose of the Assistant role is to ensure all media requests are met and verified with a great sense of urgency while maintaining secure integrity of our IP.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Be the Customer Liaison for the distribution and tracking of pre-release software, both internally and externally. Supply detailed reports to the Operations Manager.
• Handle all RPM Lab shipping and receiving.
• Inventory and order office supplies as needed.
• Inventory, update database and order media/consumables as needed. Send weekly report to RPM Lab with media/consumable status.
• Provide support for the studio IP submissions in terms of security, protection and RPM functionallity
• Distribute, track and retrieve all returnable media and cartridges ensuring their secure destruction and archive as needed.
• Work with PR/Marketing teams to distribute, track, retrieve and destroy all media sent out for review.
• Perform WW support if required
• Maintain onsite/offsite product archive.
• Track and document tasks resolution through Helpdesk GITSD.
• Assist Technicians with RPM general requests as needed.
• Maintain hardware and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform other related tasks as necessary.

Special Considerations

• The role requires interface with EA RPM Labs worldwide. Conference calls after standard working hours may be required from time to time.
• Weekend and shift work will be required, with the possibility of unsociable hours.
• Work load and hours also peak building up to holiday production, typically mid-June to mid-November each year. No significant PTO should be planned in this period.

Skills and Knowledge Required

• Strong customer service skills.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of computer operating systems (Windows XP/Vista).
• Understanding of basic computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• Ability to accurately follow documented procedures.
• Familiarity with video game platforms and their different media types.

Experience Required

• Experience with CD-R/DVD-R/DLD-R/Blu-ray hardware and software.
• Experience with processes and procedures related to video game production.
• Previous experience about any ticketing system would be a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible.
• Proven attendance and reliability to work shifts, after hours and weekends as required and set by the Operations Manager.
• Resourceful and innovative - identifies issues and implements solutions, as required.

• Team player, but able to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a multi-cultural setting.
