About the job
GKN Driveline are now looking for a Resident Application Engineer that will be positioned at the costumer site in Gothenburg. As a Resident Application Engineer you will be our representative on site. You will work in close collaboration with the costumer and your main purpose is to enforce efficient ways of working and communicating (lean) between the customer and GKN for all projects. While being on site you will work to improve the relationship between customer and supplier at several levels.
As a Resident Application Engineer your main responsibilities will be to lead the basic analysis and interpretation of costumer data, to coordinate and do plausibility controls of technical customer data and be responsible of joint sizing and PAD calculations of the product selection. An important part of the job will be to manage the information flow between GKN and the costumer.
About you
To be successful in this role we believe that you have previous experience from drivetrain for passenger cars as well as at least a B.Sc in Engineering.
As a person you are comfortable working independently in a structured way. You are communicative and, at the same time, analytical and you do not hesitate to address problems and strive to make things move forward in an effective way. Since you will be the only GKN representative on site, it is important that you appreciate and are comfortable in complying with the GKN values in purpose to create good relations with the customer.
