hela Sverige You are going to analyze driver behaviors. One part of your work will be to investigate possibilities to measure and register different behaviors during driving and to classify them into safe and unsafe behaviors, quantifying the associated risk of crashes. This is to be developed as real-time quantification in order to enable nudging towards safer behaviors. You will also work on appropriate interfaces for feedback and nudging. Your solution shall be validated. This work may include planning and running of volunteer studies.
Another part of your work will concern the analysis of crash data regarding unsafe behaviors. Specifically, you will identify different phases in driving maneuvers and their associated crash frequency. You will then derive exact and concise descriptions of the crash conditions in the different phases so that crash protection technologies can be developed. This work will include work on relational databases, data manipulation and visualization and be conducted in collaboration with our office in Bangalore, India.
• Master exam in Automotive Engineering
• Interested to work with developing technical products
• Fluent in English, preferably basic knowledge in German and Hindi
• Experience with volunteer studies and analysis of crash data or naturalistic driving data
