The position we offer
Since the financial crises in 2007, financial institutions have been forced to accommodate new regulatory requirements from Authorities. Group Functions Information & Reporting is currently supporting around 50 existing regulatory reporting processes, and new regulations effecting the reporting will come into force the next couple of years. Compliance has a very high priority in Nordea and we are currently building capabilities to manage and support both existing as well as new regulatory reporting requirements.
As a regulatory reporting specialist within business development you will translate business requirements into functional designs. You will work towards the business areas as well as with our IT department as a link between reporting and IT. You get an excellent opportunity to be involved from the very start and form a strong team, with clear objectives to deliver outstanding value for Nordea in accordance with the new operating model.
We act as the link between Business and IT. Our mission is to develop and maintain common information and reporting through unified processes, organization and platform.
Your main responsibilities will be
• Pre-studies for projects and improvements
• Business driver or Solution Matter Expert in projects and for improvements
• Sign-off of functional designs and data quality tests
• Ensure alignment to business architecture
• Provide end user support to customers in Group Functions and Business Areas
The qualifications you need
You are an analytical person with high motivation, result orientation and a drive to deliver with high quality and on time. You already have experience in project management and an understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
We are seeking a high-performing individual with the following qualifications:
• Experience of working with data flows and reporting processes
• Working in groups as well as drive tasks independently
• Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements as FINREP, COREP, FATCA, CRS, AnaCredit or credit reporting.
• Business knowledge within Banking
• An academic degree in business administration or engineering
• Proficiency in English
