Permobil is now looking for a talented and result-oriented Business Controller to our global R&D organization, primarily located in Sweden and US. The position is located in Kista and will include travelling.
You will be member of the extended R&D management team and work closely with them regarding areas such as performance management (both financial and operational KPIs), R&D business case processes and forecasting of project and product cost development. The position will be a part of Group Finance including nine team members, but you will work very closely with the R&D management team (i.e. dotted line to EVP R&D) as well as R&D project leaders and other stakeholders.
The role is new, and this is an opportunity to establish ways of working and frameworks from scratch.
Main tasks
• Lead financial planning processes such as forecasting and business planning activities.
• Tracking and forecasting of product cost development and consider financial impact from value engineering projects and R&D project initiatives
• Performance management reporting for the R&D org. and specific for R&D projects (incl. establishment of operational KPIs);
• E.g. project performance/progress vs business cases, both quality/cost/timing and operational KPIs such as product cost targets
• Supporting project leaders with business case preparation and involvement throughout our product development processes
• Budgeting, forecasting and monthly R&D cost analysis for the R&D organization to ensure that R&D teams knows their numbers and can make fact-based decisions
• Ad Hoc projects, presentations and activities
Qualifications
• University degree in finance/business admin or industrial economics, or similar
• 2-3 years of experience from project controlling within a multinational company and experience from product development processes.
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• Strong knowledge/ability to work with finance systems, business intelligence tools and MS Office package (mainly Excel and PowerPoint).

We need a Business Controller who has the ability to interpret, communicate/present findings and make recommendations in a professional way. You have a sense of structure, logic and quality with strong analytical skills - so you can dive into details, but always able to understand the bigger picture. Working in a growing company, you are positively triggered by working in a changing and multi-cultural environment and work with tight deadlines. We expect you to have good written and verbal communication skills.
