hela Sverige Keeping in mind ABB's Q&OpEx strategy as well as Components overall strategy and goals you will define and develop Q&OpEx strategies as well as support their local adoption and deployment to accelerate the rate of operational improvement across the entire value chain. This includes ensuring that the local organization has an effective management system that addresses Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental practices within the operation. Your work tasks also include partnering with local management team to set coherent and aligned Q&OpEx priorities and targets, monitor progress, analyze Q&OpEx Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and act on deviations from targets by initiating and driving improvement projects based on a standard quality improvement approach.
You understand that to continuously improve business practices and performance, deploying Lean Six Sigma within all areas of the local organization, is essential. A sense of ownership and responsibility will help drive application and development of best practice frameworks across the entire value chain to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance.
To be suitable for this role you have preferably more than five years of experience in working with Lean and/or Six Sigma as a change agent. In addition, you have proven track record of change or Lean transformation of several departments or even an entire unit. As you will be working in a global environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
On a personal level, you are an analytical leader and a team player with an independent and solution oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills. Moreover, your experience in a multicultural environment and high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity help you coach and motivate by influence. Experience in the area has given you the confidence and knowledge to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business.
You will be part of Components, a business unit within the division Power Grids. We have manufactured transformer components since the beginning of the 20th century. The business unit, which is ABB's largest manufacturer of tap-changers and IEC-bushings, is located in Ludvika and we are ABB group's center for power transmission technology. The unit also has research and development responsibility for these products and markets all over the world. We are now looking for a Quality & Operational Excellence Manager to further strengthen our team.
