Primarily, MVV:s customers are in the areas of automotive, oil/gas and robotics/automation.

Position description:
As Program engineer in the SQM organization, you will be a part of Chassis, Electrical and Powertrain commodity. SQM is responsible from development phase, supplier sourcing and launch a car project in our manufacture plants.
For new Car Programs your task is to drive/support that the chosen commodity area meets correct technical requirement, supplier capability, quality and material status following SEP, supplier engagement process. The role is to be active and involved in development phases and secure that SQM voice of supplier technique, quality & timings are fulfilled, in specific commodity area. The role is also a support to program build events and launches in VCT & VCG factories. A further responsibility is also to manage and secure the sourcing to capable suppliers from a quality and project perspective is chosen.
The job is carried out in close cooperation with R&D, Program Management, ME and Plant management, Purchasing and Purchasing Program Management. As you have a lot of interfaces towards the company it is important that you like to be open and talk to people direct or via phone/mail.
Key Deliverables:
• Secure that SQM have close communication towards line organization of R&D, purchasing and Manufacturing
• Make sure that timings are kept according to milestone and gateways(via APQP) for own area of responsibility cross projects.
• Lead priority supplier selection for its commodity
• Drive and support Flawless Launches
• Assure sourcing for quality in early phases for its commodity.
