Primarily, MVV:s customers are in the areas of automotive, oil/gas and robotics/automation.

Position description:

The purpose of the assignment is to state the main assignment, deliverables, responsibility, authority, and competence requirements for the Program SQM role.

Main Tasks:

• Act as the primary interface between the SQM Program Organisation and the SQM Site Organisation, assuring communication of program needs as appropriate.

• Lead the process to identify/notify Priority suppliers, including integration of Focus List(s) from Volvo Cars manufacturing plants.

• Coordinate, follow-up and participate in early program sourcing activities.

• Coordinate and follow up APQP/ PPAP activities.

• Maintain the APQP structure.

• Communicate program requirements to the appropriate personnel.

• Communicate status of supplier preparation and approval activities as per project defined frequency.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings and activities.

• Manage supplier quality issues reported during program build events by using the 8D process.

• Support/Participate in plant vehicle/engine launches.

• Re-planning of PSW plan dates.

Responsibility:

• Develop and implement work plans to align supplier and site organisation resources to the project timeline.

• Achieve 100% sourcing for Quality deliverables.

• Achieve 100% supplier APQP status reporting, monthly.

• Achieve 100% supplier Corrective Action Reports for any "YELLOW" or "RED" APQP-deliverable.

• Achieve 100% PSW (Part Submission Warrant) reporting at required program gate.

• Complete periodic status reports and periodic gate reports in support of project timeline.

• With management support, maintain training history, assessment, and plan.

• To issue and apply for a program specific TPD (Temporary Part Deviation) in the case of that a supplier part approval situation is leading to a non-approved PSW (Part Submission Warrant) in line with the program specific gate requirements. The responsibility remains until that the part has been brought back to specification and until that the part has achieved a full PSW * Re-planning of PSW plan dates

Skills and required experience:

Competence Requirements:

• Education on university level or equivalent experience

• Fluent in oral and written English

• Experienced in working cross-functionally

• Project management skills, milestone & gateways

• Good presentations skills

• Excellent MS office skills

• Knowledge about purchase and SQM organization and processes

• Knowledge about quality tools & systems (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, Control plan, VQDC, QS9000/TS16949, ...)

• Ability to implement & coordinate complex quality improvement processes (DOE, 6 sigma, Rate of Climb,...)

• Experience in supplier production/production technique and quality is an advantage

• Experience in Manufacturing and Launch is an advantage * Experience in Product development processes is an advantage

• Ability to manage multiple items at the same time without losing focus or quality

• Ability to solve problems
