hela Sverige * Hold a key role managing all purchasing activities in investment projects and maintenance contracts for the Plant, as well as other assigned areas.
• Establishing new agreements and follow up on existing framework agreements, preparation of tender documents, conduct procurements, support all areas in plant with larger purchases.
• Execute local market analysis and scouting local supplier base. Guarantee purchases within the product categories of competence at the best conditions in terms of price, quality and service by analysing market data according to the specified procedures (markets, suppliers, statistical analysis, publications), identifying suppliers, negotiating agreements and guaranteeing their application in observance of the purchase strategies specified by the Superior.
• Conduct negotiations and contracting as per defined purchasing guidelines
• Ensure the best supplier base of competence by updating the opportunities offered by the market and constantly monitoring the performance of existing suppliers, in observance of competition goals for the total value of supply, by ensuring the quality, food safety and sustainability specified by the units in charge, according to the procedures and criteria specified by the Superior.
• Monitor recurring spot buys to reduce them and highlight potential for catalogue and contract creation and be the dispatcher of negotiations that will be managed by External Spot Buy Team
• Deal with the disputes: quantify damages, negotiate the compensations, follow-up the current disputes and their progress
• Make sure the contracts are valid: contracts study, legal validation, negotiations of high-risk clauses
• Be the collector of local necessities, to introduce new suppliers, receive feedbacks from Central Purchasing team and addressing the request to Vendor Master Data team as per defined procedures
• Manage local supplier evaluation, handle day by day supplier relationship and build sustainable supplier relationships for assigned category that generate value for both Barilla and the supplier over time
• Perform local communication and promote global/regional contracts use, lead the phase out of the old contracts and procedures and introduce new suppliers
• Provide insights on local requirements and supplier market identify any local legal constraints for contract implementation and support local supplier homologations and qualifications. Support central organization in requirements/specifications collection
• Manage efficiency/saving calculation and manage supplier relationship for efficiency data tracking and mismatch cases
• Collect locally data and information to share with Central Purchasing, contributing to the overall Purchasing view. Define, share, update and implement local Purchasing Projects
• Collect Purchase Requisition (PR) for local user requestors, check quality, solve issues with purchase requisition (clarifications, requirement specification) with related stakeholders, execute PR with sourcing events where local presidium is needed. Provide all contractual conditions enriching purchase requisition (PR)
• Be entry point for Central Purchasing in order to guarantee locally guidelines' application. Analyze and communicate purchasing processes in order to standardize process and tools usage.
• Verify the correct update of Approved/Preferred Suppliers, contract list, catalogue implementation and use, suppliers contact
Required Skills
• Academic degree within Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years previous experience managing any of the following indirect supplier portfolios containing Services and Office supplies, Services for employees, Industrial equipment and/or Utilities/Energy preferably in an international company.
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Availability to travel in Sweden and Europe to meet Central Purchasing Unit in HQ or meet with suppliers (max 20%)

As our purchasing manager for indirect material you will be responsible to execute and manage all local indirect purchasing activities such as identifying internal requirements and based upon those perform sourcing, negotiation and contracting related to local indirect categories related to the country plant site and HQ (IT, HR & Finance & Admin) as per defined Company guidelines. You are responsible for local contract implementation, to manage spot buys and activating and collaborating with the external "Spot Buying team" and in charge of spot buy reduction. You are further responsible for local implementation of purchasing strategies, in line with corporate purchasing indications, in terms of market analysis, guidelines and procedures in order to guarantee the correct purchase of local necessities.
