The Job
Our ambition is that by year 2020 our most important customers should perceive us as the best European company in spare part
distribution. We must therefore, among other things, strengthen our
organization with employees who want to take a great responsibility to reach
our business targets. We have a temporary position open for covering a parental
leave as Purchaser.

The position is responsible for purchasing of spare parts within certain categories. This is a key role for the performance of the Spare parts organization when it comes to availability of Spare parts to our customers.

The job content and key focus areas are:

• With help from the inventory management system plan and organize purchase proposals.
• For the agreed categories and suppliers, the purchaser is responsible for the purchase process management; placing orders, order confirmations and invoice management
• A big part of the job is to proactively work in supplier development on all areas such as deliveries, prices and new products
• Take an active role in developing and implementing operative processes within UCE Spare parts

To be successful in this role you like to work independently in a structured way. At the same time, our business processes demand a high degree of interaction with other colleagues and therefore you as a person needs to be a strong team player.
We want a colleague with a good knowledge in purchasing and supply chain. The personality and ambition are as important as experience for this recruitment. Our new colleague is truly service-minded and willing to work with colleagues to secure availability of parts to our customers.
Your skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Performance- and results oriented
• Ability to work independently but also in a team with a high degree of responsibility
• Structured way of working
• Good skills in Word and Excel
• Good knowledge in English, verbally and written

Qualifications
.Relevant degree
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience within purchasing in an international environment
• Experience with supplier relationship management
• After market purchasing skills of advantage but not a must

We offer
A position in an international team containing supply chain specialists within purchasing, material planning and logistics based in Sweden, the Netherlands and Spain. Your main stakeholders will be colleagues in the parts organization and UCE sourcing organizations at production units as well as external suppliers.

This is a temporary position from 1st of December 2018 to 1st of Sept 2019.
