About Group IT
Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.
Large Corporates &Institutions (LC&I) is part of IT Services organization. We are about 60 employees located in Sweden, working with Application Development and Maintenance. The division is growing and is now looking for a motivated and independent Project Manager with senior skills.
Assignment specification
As a Project Manager you will be part of the LC&I Development team and will be responsible for managing both small and large projects within the LC&I project portfolio. You will be a focal point in different projects, leading and coordinating different activities with the right balance between functionality, time and cost. If you are good at juggling several tasks at the same time, have excellent 'people' skills and can lead a team, this may be the career for you.
The role also includes following activities:
Managing projects together with Business Project Managers, Vendors and other roles within and outside own division. Contribute in building good relationship with business Agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed Selecting and leading a project team Maintaining and developing business competence related to IT solutions within the LC&I area Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services Contribute with knowledge sharing within your area Managing risks for avoiding delays
You will be located at the Swedbank office at Stora Essingen, Stockholm, Sweden.
About you
We are looking for a person who has good managerial skills and who knows the software development process. Knowledge and experience about the business and infrastructure in the financial institutions area is preferable.
You should have:
Higher education in IT field (or acquiring); Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills Logical thinking and creative problem-solving ability Great attention to details Good communication and negotiation skills The ability to work well with others and lead a team Technical knowledge relevant to the project Experience in the Large corps/Financial institution area Experience in regulatory projects Good proven managerial skills

As head of development within LC&I IT division I’m responsible for the Project- and Test manager team within LC&I-IT area.
I’ve been at Swedbank since 2014. Before that I have worked within the Insurance business since 1991 in different roles and as a manager since 2001.
As a manager I will give you freedom with responsibility. I am down to earth and am not a person that will control you with a lot of details. I will support you to grow and to do great work in the Projects. I expect my team to meet the business side early in projects and with a positive and open mind cooperate with the business, giving LC&I good IT solutions supporting their many flavors of business.
