The Project Manager in Alumni Fundraising will be primarily responsible for implementing the Annual Fund campaign and organizing fundraising events. The Project Manager will cooperate closely with other functions within the External Relations Department as well as with faculty and program directors throughout the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). The AFR team is led by the Head of Alumni and Foundation Relations who reports to the Vice President of External Relations and cooperates closely with the President.
As a Project Manager in Alumni Fundraising, you will work closely with SSE alumni and you will be responsible for:
• Implementing the Annual Fund campaign and raising 2.5 million SEK unrestricted support from alumni and friends, which includes direct mail, online giving and other specialized giving programs,
• Plan and organize fundraising events throughout the year which support the annual giving and major gifts programs.
• Develop and pilot reunion fundraising program, and
• Other tasks as directed.
We are looking for someone who:
• has previous fundraising experience, specifically a familiarity with the objectives of annual fund raising,
• has familiarity with fundraising databases and prospect management systems,
• is able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment,
• can work effectively as a team member or independently,
• is well organized and detail oriented,
• has demonstrated project management skills,
• has event experience,
• is strongly motivated with a problem-solving attitude,
• is service-minded,
• is results-oriented
• has excellent written and oral communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Swedish, and
• has an academic degree.
Experience from an academic setting (preferred but not required).
You will report to the Head of Alumni and Foundation Relations.

Varaktighet, arbetstid
The position is full-time and has conditional tenure (SSE requires a 6-month trial period of employment). Occasional travel and overtime may be required.
