ARBETSBESKRIVNING
Recently IVL got engaged in quite a few international projects related to establishment of big size Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). IVL?s role in those projects is to evaluate tender bids of contractors for STP construction work, approve the design and plan for STP, suggest the changes if needed, suggest the technologies to be implemented to match the outcome to customer?s expectations, monitor the work, and guide the contractor and customers throughout the process.
We are now looking for you who have minimum 15 years of experience as project manager in water, waste water management with strong knowledge in waste water (municipal and industrial) treatments, technologies & infrastructure and municipal & industrial solid waste and waste management and who is ready to work abroad. It would add value to your profile if you have worked in STP establishment project anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate the Tender bids for STP construction work
• Approve the design and plans for STP and suggest the changes
• Suggest the technologies for sewage water treatment
• Monitor the STP implementation work
• Guide the contractor and customers throughout the process.
As a co-worker, you are involved in all or part of our project process - identify problems, formulate research questions and goals, plan, implement and supervise project work, visit workplaces and collect data, reviewing and evaluating existing measures, discussing any need for additional measures , compile results and write reports as well as disseminate research results.
Qualifications
Engineering or Natural sciences, preferably with a focus on chemistry, Experienced in wastewater treatment (municipal and Industrial), water management.
Our activities are conducted in teams and in project form, which means that you need good communication skills (English), teamwork and flexibility, but also good ability to work independently. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing is also important in order to communicate the results of our projects. It is also desirable that you focus on opportunities and potential solutions.
