Role Overview
As our Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our SAP implementation efforts, focusing on the manufacturing (focus production planning) domain in SAP. Your primary responsibility will be to interface with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Product Data and Life Cycle Management (PDM/PLM) ensuring seamless integration with SAP. Leveraging your project management expertise and knowledge of the Scania Production System, you'll drive efficiency, optimize processes, and lead our organization towards operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project management activities for SAP implementation projects within production and logistics at Scania.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Interface with Manufacturing Execution Systems, Product Life Cycle Management systems to ensure smooth integration with SAP.
• Apply your expertise in the Scania Production System to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Requirements
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in SAP implementation projects within the manufacturing area.
• In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems, Product Life Cycle Management, and Production Planning processes.
• Experience with the Scania Production System or similar lean manufacturing methodologies is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous.
