Scania Industrial Maintenance AB is a technical production support company and part of Scania CV AB, which is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines, to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. We have a wide range of services within industrial projects and responsibility for production and property maintenance. We have specialized expertise in, among other things, automation, control & regulations, electricity and plumbing. At the moment, exciting work is underway to establish a new production facility in China. We are looking for a committed Project Manager at Scania Industrial Maintenance. You will be part of an international dedicated project team of project leaders and engineers working together to perform and develop world-class maintenance for a new production facility in China.

Our scope is to establish a future Maintenance organization, setting the strategy and procurement of equipment for our central areas as well as supporting the procurement of our future production facilities.

In this position, you'll be responsible to ensure the central services will be ready at the start of production, such as the maintenance workshop, indirect material warehouse, and discarding area. The scope includes the requirements for buildings/equipment, building the right basis for future operations, including internal logistic handling, development of local suppliers, and partnership and training for the future operational organization. An important aspect is understanding the local requirements and legislation to achieve a complying and sustainable solution.

In this role, you'll work in close collaboration with other maintenance departments, production operations, and supporting functions (HR, Security, IT, Health, and Environmental Coordination) with Chinese colleagues but also in an international team (including all existent operations at Scania).

Additional information
The position is a full-time, permanent position and it's located in central Södertälje. We work mainly from the office, but we believe in flexibility and the ability to work from home when the business and the task allow. Both national and international travel may be required.

Your profile
We are looking for you, who will strengthen the team with your personality and positive attitude. We believe that you have experience as a project manager or similar leadership roles in related areas. You take great responsibility for your deliveries and you can easily collaborate with different parties and stakeholders.

We also see that you have:

• Relevant higher education in maintenance technology, industrial engineering, or industrial production.
- Good knowledge of maintenance strategies and knowledge of legal requirements, and environmental aspects.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: maintenance, spare part strategies, and recycling/discarding operations, is a merit.
- Good knowledge of English both in speech and writing.
- Good general computer skills. Experience in Maintenance systems and Auto-CAD is merit.
