Project Manager IT at Scania Financial Services
Job Description
The central Process and IT function within Financial Services has been build up from 2010 and our goal is to make sure that IT supports the common processes in the best possible and cost-effective way. The function consist of 8 people and the team has strong business focus, high spirit and service orientation towards subsidiaries. We are located together with the Global Management for Financial Services, in Södertälje. Now, we are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our team.
The project manager will have a key role in the team with a focus on leading the project team and the cooperation with external and internal suppliers. The Project Manager should have an active and operative role within the Financial Services IT projects with a focus on central driven projects. The role also involves supporting local projects in terms of project management. In practise this involves managing evaluation and implementation projects of any new major business systems for our leasing operations. You are also actively involved in the project team in the markets where there is other system changes planned.
The Project Manager will be mainly responsible for:
• Central IS/IT projects from start-up to implementation
• Maintaining the minimum requirements document for a Financial Services Portfolio system
• Maintaining relations to common software suppliers and coordinating changes and negotiations with suppliers of common systems e.g. upgrade projects
• Roll out PPS within Financial Services
• Run assignments regarding process and IS/IT
• Follow-up of annual IT plan review with the subsidiaries
Job requirements
We are looking for a structured and business oriented team member with the ambition to grow with us. You have a degree in IS/IT development or have acquired this knowledge in your profession. You have strong project management skills and are experienced in system implementations. You can easily bridge the gap between the business need and the system ability. If you have leasing and financing business knowledge that is a plus. Fluency in English is a must since you are supporting a global organisation.
To be successful you need to be self-driven, proactive and hold good communication abilities. Service orientation, accuracy and good negotiation skills are also characteristics we are looking for. The job offers plenty of international contacts both with our finance companies as well as software suppliers. This means also that you will be expected to travel from time to time. In this position you will be reporting to the Head of IT and Process.
